Satkohi Sons Accounts Reports
Privacy policy

Who we are
Satkohi Sons Ltd runs Satkohi Sons Accounts Reports (the "app") and is the data controller for the information it handles. Contact us at info@satkohisons.co.uk.
What the app accesses
The app reads Satkohi Sons Ltd's own accounting data from QuickBooks Online: company details, the chart of accounts, transactions, invoices and bills, and the financial reports QuickBooks produces. Customer and supplier records in QuickBooks can include names and contact details of individuals, so the app may read that personal information too.
The app doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. This website only shows information pages.
Why we use it
Only to produce financial reports and analysis for running Satkohi Sons Ltd, such as profit and loss, balance sheets, and amounts owed to and by the company. Our lawful basis under UK data protection law is our legitimate interest in managing the company's finances.
We don't sell this data, use it for marketing, or share it with anyone except the service providers below.
Service providers
- Intuit holds the data in QuickBooks Online and provides the secure connection the app uses. Intuit's own privacy statement covers QuickBooks.
- Hetzner Online GmbH hosts the app's server in Germany. The server holds the connection keys, not a copy of the books.
- Anthropic provides Claude, the AI assistant the company uses to analyse the reports the app retrieves. Report data passes through Claude only when the company asks it a question.
How long we keep it
The connection keys are kept until the app is disconnected, and are then deleted. Reports retrieved through the app are kept only as long as the company needs them for its own records and analysis.
Security
The connection to Intuit is encrypted, and Intuit's approval is limited to Satkohi Sons Ltd's company. The connection keys are stored on the server under a dedicated account that nothing else uses, never in source code, and never in emails or chat.
Your rights
If the data includes information about you, you can ask us for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by contacting us at the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
